Dear Year 3 parents and carers,

On Monday 26^th September Year 3 are having a Pirate theme day. It’s going to be awesome! On this day we will be doing loads of fun activities to help the children learn more about their current topic. We would like to invite your child to dress up on this day as a pirate. We do not want you as parents/carers to spend money ordering costumes, so here are some ideas to help you keep the cost down for a ‘do it yourself’ costume:

• Draw a moustache and beard on their face with eyeliner or face paint.
• Wear a stripy t-shirt and black trousers (school trousers are perfect)
• Tie a thin piece of fabric round their head
